The Roundtable Program for Adolescent Males

The Roundtable Program is a unique, psychiatric residential treatment program for adolescent male sex offenders, ages 12 to 17. Our program is based on cognitive behavioral therapy practices, led and administered by a Program Director, Social Worker, and a team of therapists who are all Certified Sexual Offender Treatment Specialists. The program has a duration of approximately 12 to 18 months, so under certain circumstances, some young men may stay beyond their 18th birthday.

The Roundtable Program serves males who:

  • Are ages 12 to 17

  • Have diagnoses of sexualized issues and perpetration

  • Are in parental or state custody

  • Have been found to be a moderate or high risk for offending

  • Can no longer be maintained safely in less restrictive environments

  • Are ready to talk about their sexual histories and learn a non-abusive lifestyle

Admission & Referral

Referrals can come from any source but are typically received through DHHR, the court system or the mental health system. For admission, provide a summary of the youth, along with records of treatment attempts, intellectual functioning, and current trauma needs. An MCM1 will be required before admission. Provide an APR referral if the youth is in state custody. All referral information is reviewed by the Program Director to determine admission eligibility.
